2006 330i 6MT manual with M-Factory LSD

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 4,200.00

Item Interest
BWM 2006 330i 6 speed manual with M-factory LSD.

Space Gray Metallic, Black Dakota Leather
Sports package
Standard features: heated power seats, compass mirror, folding side mirrors

Always in California, so no rust at all.
Located in Yuba, City, CA - near Sacramento.

As you can see from the maintenance and subtle upgrades, I was planning on keeping this car. But a great deal on a GTI and a pending move means the car should go to the next person to enjoy.

Mileage: ~201,500 - last 100k mostly highway miles. No, really! Yuba City to Sacramento (45 miles each way) 5 times a week.

Condition: Very good - not perfect, but very good. See below for details.

Body:
  • No dents
  • Scratch on trunk lid from being keyed in the hood
  • Front bumper has normal rock chips
  • Front left bumper has scratches from previous owner
  • Minor chips on rear bumper.
  • Headlights could use another polishing

Interior is just about perfect 8/9 out of 10.
  • No holes or rips in the leather.
  • No flaking on any of the trim.
  • Only interior issue is the factory Professional radio - standard pixel fade issue when hot.
  • Cold AC
  • Weathertech front mats & BMW front and rear mats.

Driveline:
  • Engine is original, no issues at all - pulls strong and does not consume oil.
  • Original clutch still, no slipping (see commute miles above). Have a new Valeo single mass flywheel kit in box.

Maintenance/repairs/upgrades:

M-Factory LSD in auto (3.64) diff. This upgrade alone made the car more alive. Less that 10000 miles on the LSD. Original diff included, if wanted.

Interior:
  • M-Sport Steering wheel. Original wheel included, if wanted.
  • BMW 330i short shift. Original shifter included.

Suspension:
  • Bilstein shocks front and rear
  • Eibach sway bars front and rear
  • M3 control arms front and rear
  • New tie rod ends
  • Manzo rear toe arms
  • Stainless steel brake lines
  • Wheel bolt conversion
  • Whiteline rear subframe bushing inserts
  • Whiteline outer trailing arm bushings @ 195k (have inner, just not installed)
  • SuperPro rear outer balljoint bushings
  • 034 engine and transmission mounts
  • AA gen 2 rear muffler
  • AA updated tune

Tires: new Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 245/40/18 all the way around on stock Style 162 wheels. Front left will slightly rub on large bumps.
  • Space saver spare and jack included.
  • Bentley service manual included.

Maintenance:
  • Oil changed every 5k - 7k miles with either Mobile One, or Castrol Edge for European cars.
  • Oil pan gasket changed by Neilo BMW @ ~175k miles
  • Oil filter housing gasket @ 164k
  • Spark plugs @ 168k
  • Tensioner pulley, idler pulley and serpentine belt @180k
  • Transmission fluid (Redline d6) @195k miles
  • Starter replaced @195k miles.
  • Recent hood and trunk support struts.
  • Other misc. parts over the years
