Welcome Lights - AEs Fade In/Out
Here's a couple pictures of the Welcome Lights mod. Basically wired the Angel Eyes to the footwell lights to allow them to fade in and power on when the car is unlocked and also fade out and power off when the car is locked. Also included a couple quick videos. Enjoy!

This actually is new if you have one of the first production e90s (not sure which year BMW started leaving the AEs and tail lights on during unlock/lock). I have an '06 and the AEs don't illuminate during lock or unlock. I just get two flashes of the side markers and turn signals during unlock, and one flash while locking.
JayReplay, do you have instructions for the mod? Does this affect the AEs or other exterior lighting in any way during normal operation? Nice mod! |

I believe this feature was only on 08+ E90 models. I know for sure the e92s have them.
I have an early build 07 =( . Do your welcome lights also have the tail light rods powered? License plate lights?

confirmed all E92's have this, but the taillights and license plate lights also do the same thing if switch is set to auto |
