Eye Lids: Yay or Nay?

what do you guys think? going to be blacking out my housing and putting some v4 rings in soon. Was thinking about adding these to make the car look extremely aggressive. Can't decide if i should do carbon fiber to match my exhaust tips and lip (coming soon) or paint match them instead

not really feeling 'em, IMO your front-end looks a lot nicer the way that it currently is

NO! The only eyelids that look good are the ones that come with the E90 LCI Xenon headlights.

If you black them out I feel it'll be perfect on your car. But if your going for the aggressive looking AE set up, just cover those LED's up in the housing so you have a nice clean set

the ae's I'm going to get aren't full outer circles on the larger ring which is why I think they would look good together.

i think they only look decent on headlights that are rectangular (e36, B6 A4, MK4 Jetta, etc.)

but definitely not in cf on any headlight. lol. that just looks straight tacky.

Don't even incorporate it into the housing either.

The newer cars aren't having eyelids, look at the 6 series.

Try to mimic those the best you can by making both rings cut off at the top, but without using the eye lid. It's going to look really old, really fast if you go with the eye lid.

I'm content with my Lux, until the day that OSS makes the squared halos possible. In which case I will get the led rings with square bottoms and no blackout. IMO blackout looks bad on the e46, it will eventually look bad on the e92

it looks ugly don't waste your money on them. It is almost as bad as people putting eyelashes on top of their headlights.
