me too !

Sounds like some cooling tweaks for certain.

Not sure how much they are allowed to deviate from OEM specs though.

Probably brakes, suspension, cooling and a chip is all !

I believe it is the same v1 set-up as last time. Although I've been told that the car came together in the last minute with no pre-race testing time. I'm not optimistic

Why do you say that?

Is it because of a possible limp mode or boost spikes?

I would think one would be pleased as peaches for such free press?

It's because the entire car was put together and not really tested. History has it that such cars don't do so well in races.

Shiv got great press last year when IIRC 3 BMW's had the PROcede in it and they took first, third and like 5th place.

Was a GREAT test of our car's durability.
To have 3 different 335i's running the PROcede HARD, and I mean HARD for 12 hours with no issues was awesome. One of the reasons I'm sure many people bought a PROcede.

Shiv,

In regards to the guys who ran last year (including the guy who actually won the race last year ), why haven't they converted their PROcede 335i's up to PROcede v2 yet?????

Ha ha, I know you're j/k, but in all seriousness, I haven't seen limp mode or stuttering with the newer v2.02 6AT maps; she's been running perfectly since the end of Dec. It's quite obvious that a PROcede v2 powered 335i would be in an excellent position to win the Bathurst 12-hour race for the 2nd time (given the drivers are the same)!!!!

Hopefully it will be on the local TV here in Aus.

I'd love more info on this "A new fuel system, around $20,000 worth of brakes and a new radiator designed to keep the car cooler are the new features in the victorious BMW".

Sounds like Shiv is soft-pedaling this -- the car looks hot!
