I guess, then, the American mid-west isn't where you want to be at the moment, either.

Well this is one I took in Florida a few years ago; and if this big boy says it`s raining outside, you get your coat on...........!

(Picture quality wasn`t the greatest, but I like the photo, and think it needs to be shared )

They look great Paul, but there may be something wrong with your film because the colour looks a bit off.

Nice Pics but shame they are all in sepia - did you shoot them this way, ot have you converted them on the 'puter. If the latter, would be nice to see a few in 'full colour'

They were taken in Sepia. Believe it or not they were rubbish in full blown colour! Because it was a grey, cold winters day. The Sepia really brought the pictures to life!

Again that camera of yours does work well. Some pics look good in sepia. I think those would be better in black and white.

I'm still experimenting with my camera and this was the first occasion where I thought Sepia worked well... I'll keep playing!

Incredible. Tell us more about Cambodia. I've always wanted to go.

Are the pics of Angkor Watt?

The one with the tree root is superb.

Thanks people, pics arent as good as you guys have taken ( I ama complete amatuer, but took 300+ pics) but its easy to take interesting photos, I litteraly was just point and clicking everywhere!

I was in Cambodia for 5 days and loved everyday of it. People are great.

Pictures are of Angkor, I really got my geek on, did the whole Indiana Jones thing ! ( my mates moaned and groaned and just wanted to hit the bars in the daytime but I dragged them about )

Angkor is enormous, the entire site is a few square miles and has many many archeoligical sites (Angkor Wat is smack bang in the middle), some really take your breath away. Everything is so picturesque that its easy to get carried away. Its worth reading up about the sites so you can plan the sites you want to visit as some are very remote.

Its a heavy tourist ground, but for the rare moments when there is nobody about and your just surrounded by jungle and crumbling sites.. its truly magic. The sites which have not been renovated are stunning, trees growing ontop of stone roofs (thats where tomb raider was filmed ) and jungle just swallowing up history

We rented motorcycles to get about in Angkor itself over 5 days, theres no way you can do it on foot.

It was the end of the rainy season ( still hot, hardly any rain ), the actual town was flooded and a nearby aligator farm had some escaped "residents" which were swimming about in the flooded parts of the town .. which made things interesting !

If your into history / photography / of just backpacking, you MUST MUST go.
Dont take children though, its just not worth the ache.

Plenty of great hotels and restaurents, and its all relatively cheap.
