This not a knock on Gavin but I would wait to see the feedback from someone else before I put my money down... Theres just certain companies that has established Reps and ESS is one of them. I'm ready to buy a s/c but still picky in regards to quality of the system.

MMW is respectable here. Granted, they haven't done superchargers before, but in other areas they have a lot of happy customers.

I know, I'll be one of the first ones to order MMW SC if feed back is good. I'm just saying ESS, Active, and VFS all have done s/c before and it's not a matter of Can do but if they want to take on the project.

I'd be interested. I plan to hold on to this car for a long time even tho I may get something else next year…. I always wanted a "project" car… since getting the e90, been disappointed that i didn't wait for 335i 4door. SO.. it would be really cool to know that I could get some kinda of boost to 300+ hp range.. on my car.

If I'm not mistaken, the SC kit will work for the N51 as well, but the HP/TQ would be slightly different due to the lower compression rate in the N51. If anything, it may provide more power due to that.

To add, they have a SC for the e46 m3 price at $5,400. I think its possible. Definitely in if it comes out within the next 1-2 years.

sorry ppls whom i bumped off, i just copied and pasted from a previous post. Any word on the kit yet? hows the magnesium engine gonna stay cooled down? it's already bad enough that we can't do a oil cooler mod
