I flashed 7603537 last weekend and I didn't like it at all.
M mode was impressive but D and S were a bit too jumpy and caused occasional jolt.
I'll be flashing back to stock this weekend.

Whenever you flash new settings you make sure you drive it for awhile so it can adapt. I flashed to 7603537 from 7615835 and the shifts in D mode were garbage, flaring mostly. Took at least a week of my daily driving for it to finally figure itself out. Just a guess, but if you reset transmission adaptations (with INPA or BT) after flashing it may learn it bit quicker.

It is the most recent N54 AT specific transmission flash that has been released for the GS19.11.0 transmission, again this is specific to the N54.
I'm running this one, but I tried the other alpina flash mentioned briefly and it wouldn't hold in gear properly, crazy mis shifts, etc.

Anyway, can you elaborate on its impact on torque limiters?
I had Alex from alpine flash my TCU to a version of Alpina B3, but don't recall the number. With a high HP tune, it's all good.

I'm satisfied with Alpina flash. Daily driving is smooth

When I really want to mess around sport mode engaged. But manual mode is super fun

Is the new B3 flash much smoother? I had the older B3 flash on my car for awhile but went back to the Sport US one to have less shifting in D mode.
I miss the faster shifts, but in manual mode the US Sport flash feels faster than the other options

Im sure it was changed. First they did some work to it for a leak
So im guessing they changed or at least added fluid. With flash i would get bad jerking
Ecspecially in the am on cold starts. I mean so bad i thought the tranny fell out. I mean, what do you expect. Im sure yhe tranny wasnt ment to go to 6th gear at 20mph cold and within 500 ft. After trnny went i got a brand new one installed. Ran stock for a couple weeks with no issues. Hated how slow s and m were. Loaded alpina, jerking starts again. Ran alpina a couple months, doesnt fix itself. Loaded us sport flash last week. Jerking is gone. I love it. Now i find out i cant use it because its not ment for our tranny. Going to try alpina one more time this time making sure its the new version. If i get jerking again. Stock it is for me.

Garage List
Just flashed back to stock today.

Last time I was flashing I got multiple warnings on dashboard/iDrive regarding stability controls/ABS
and I thought they popped up because I flashed while the dash lights are all turned on.
So this time I flashed after pushing the start button only once just to see if I can flash without those warnings.

Flashing failed due to some security errors so I pushed the start button one more time and hit F3 again.
Still got warnings, the windshield wipers went crazy and flashing failed again.

Yeah I bricked the tranny (holy shit moment).
I got out, locked and unlocked car and tried again from scratch (restarted winkfp).
Fortunately, flashing succeeded this time and the dashboard went back to normal.
I'm not sure why but I also had to flash EGS twice to get the paddle shifters working this time.

Moral of the story:
When flashing TCU, push the start button twice (all dash lights on) not once.
And don't panic when you get warnings while flashing. They're supposedly normal.
I wish it was mentioned in the DIY post.

Anyways, I'm glad I flashed back to stock.
So much smoother and also more predictable.
I miss alpina's M mode though.
Maybe I'll try it again if stock flash starts feeling shitty after going FBO.
(it'll be next month )

Different flashes will cause different warnings on the dash I noticed. I always clear codes after flashing too because it leaves a dozen or so codes in the DME and trans.

Alpina goes 6th at 40 mph, not sure which one you had that hit 6th at 20 that's rape

also contact wildcrazycat, he knows all about the various versions and can rremotely code it, and i don't get a percentage from him
