Thanks a bunch. It was a driven hate of the amber lamps. I made a few expensive mistakes, but I learned a lot. Now it's all simple stuff for me.

Awesome job indeed! Looks like a whole new car to be honest. I love the amber theme inside but the more I see mods like this, the more outdated I feel lol

It really does make it look like a new car. For me, it relaxes me more when I drive at night. I think it's nice to be able to change the lighting like this to blend with the interior.
I'd love to do a red set in a red e9x with black interior and red trim. I'm not a red fan, but the red LEDs really pop.

That looks amazing. I never was a huge fan of the Red interments and gauges in BMWs. Some other cars' gauges definitely look much better due to their colours. My personal favourite is the Acura gauges. They're white, and look pretty classy.

Imo I can't stand anything that bright or vibrant. I will admit that from a showcar perspective and in photos it looks great but in person you're really going to strain your eyes when you have bright blue or white staring back. This is actually why police vehicles have red interior lights to ensure their night vision doesn't get compromised during emergencies. But to each their own!

The beauty of this mod = It isn't vibrant when you dim the cluster lights for the night. Trust me.

You can use the same PLCC 2 LEDs to replace the ones you removed from the start/stop switch and stand it upright and also where a PLCC-4 is used, again, used a PLCC-2 and only solder to 2 pads.
The smaller LEDs are 2214.
Please PM me for any other information.

HI guys. Today I changed the leds for this controller and some are white as I like and others are a little yellow. Does anyone know how to solve this?
