335i vs e60 M5
I was testing the car out with my wife and our new puppie after playing around with the jb3 this afternoon (I finally used the settings born4flying gave me). On the way home, an e60 M5 came flying behind us and pulled next to us. I smiled, he smiled, then we were off.
1st race: we were going at 30 mph and I pulled about half a car or so on him up to 60, then he was probably 1.5 - 2 cars ahead of me up to 80 mph. 2nd race: same race, about the same result. 3rd race: we were at the light, started talking (he was a VERY cool older guy), then green light, we were off. I was spinning through first and second gear (not to mention I missed 2nd gear), but I was about 1-1.5 cars ahead of him up to 60 mph or so, then he passed me and had about 1.5 - 2 cars on me up to 85 mph Afterall, I am very pleased with my jb3 settings so far That's all, just wanted to share my day with you guys |

Nice Alfred! Great kill.
I had the same experience on our way out to mfest this year. One of the cool guys we met up with in Grand Junction had a sweet E60 m5 and I pulled on him consistently. However we were going slightly faster from 80 to 130. People may think it's b/s but it's definitely doable at our altitude, as you just experienced Good stuff man! |

I hope so. Also, I think I gave the M5 too much credit. Now that I think about it, I don't think he got 1-1.5 cars on me. He started pulling on me at the higher speed, but I dont think he was much ahead of me.

Hi Dackz,
I'd really like to make it out, however I've got a busy schedule next week, so not quite sure yet if I'll be able to break away. I will if I can... Cheers! |
