My wife has been wanting to trade her car in for a 328xi (she may even settle for a 325) for a while now, but we can't find one for cheap (lower 20s). Anyone have any connections in getting a 328/325 for cheap? We are hoping to find one locally for now.

Her wish lists:

- Sedan
- Black, dark blue, or sparkling graphite exterior
- MUST be an automatic
- Mileage cannot be higher than 40,000

Any help is much appreciated.

I've seen a few that go for $24k or so. I'm not sure if I want to spend that much for a 328 when I got mine for $25.5. I will check those other ones out from cars.com this weekend

Ive seen a few 06 330's/325's in the range I am guessing you want to spend (17-20k). They are out there to be had, but the problem you may be running into is the specifics. But, you will find what you want if you wait long enough.

I actually waited about 6 months to find my car, I had to have what I got and was willing to wait, and it paid off I think.

Still, you got a steal on your car. I got a steal on mine too. Get a steal on the next one too


Also, does this mean your going to be bringing 2 cars to mfest next year or, just the modded out 3? lol. You know your coming. Just admit to it now.

She has no patience in finding her next car. We test drove an 07 A4, she wanted to make a deal right after she test drove it. Then, we found an 07 328 for $27K or so, she wanted it badly. I will, however, make her wait 'til we find a good deal though

If we do go, we're only gonna take one. I doubt we're gonna go though. She does not like Vegas

Haha, patience is needed for finding the right car. Go get her a 02 honda or something then and save the dough so you can come to Mfest (ditch the wife haha). How does she not like Vegas? Im going in 3 weeks and again 3 weeks later, but all for concerts (5 nights, 5 concerts and 1 pool party show even).

The deals are out there though, just have to look for sure.

I ask her the same question all the time. She has her jag right now. So I'm not gonna let her just buy whatever she finds. I may even look for a 335 if we can find one that's right

Had a 328xi sedan loaner yesterday for a couple of hours (my lumbar support button turned into a non-functioning spinning knob somehow lol) and I was not impressed with it to be honest. I mean, it was a 3 series, but I felt like I was back in a x3 almost. It accelerates decent but its no 335.

That and I am no fan of xdrive either. I dont like how it feels in the steering and cornering on dry road. Something about when the road has that wetness and being able to crush the gas and get a little sideways that just makes me

I would have probably gotten an CLS63 AMG but all they make are manuals. My uncle had a CLS 500 and it was a SWEET ride, and the AMG even better. But, hinghsight, glad I didnt. The 'smaller' car fits me better, although that CLS drove like a smaller car.

My cousin has a dealer license and gets some nice cars out in Cali at auctions and had one for like 45k, I told him I wouldnt go any higher then 36k, lol, so no go on that. NICE car though. And the exhaust on that
