Tires in Sydney

Thankfully i have an excuse to get rid of my run flats (front at least). I have a sidewall cut so they must go!

Front tire is 225 -19 -35
Rear tire is 255 - 19 - 30 .

Is that the correct width aspect ratio?
Should I change to a different size for non - RF?
I live in the Castle Hill area. Any suggestions where i can get a good deal

Keen to hear what others have to say about places for a good deal. The sizes are correct as i remember them, although last time i purchased i went for one size up on each in Michelin pilot super sports. 235 and 265 respectively with the same aspect ratio mentioned.

Changed the car entirely; its the one mod the missus absolutely agreed with. RFTs are epically shit!

I was told id find it hard to find 265's without ordering in advance as its an odd size. Ended up with 255 on the back because of it.

I have found Tempe Tyres excellent to work with in the past. They have an excellent range of tyres and service is fast. I ordered a set of tyres online on a Saturday and they were delivered to the front door first thing Monday morning.

I went from oem 193 style runflats to csl style 19s with 235 35 front and 265 30 rear and grip is better but overall ride is too harsh for my liking.

Can't wait to go back to 18's with chunky sidewalls.

I had RFTs too and went with the non-RFTs now.If I can make a suggestion that I think you will be more than happy with! I bought my tyres from "Cooper Tyres". I have 265/18/40R and 245/18/35F. These tyres are named Zestino Gredge and are a semi-slick road legal tyre. They perform absolutely fantastic in the dry and even better in the wet, hard to believe but its true. I get about 40k from each set and at $120pr tyre they are a great buy and I wont use anything else.road noise is absolutely nil,and similair to the RFs you can still drive to a shop on the flat to get it fixed so do yourself a favour and check out the great tread pattern on these tyres too.I swear by them

Interesting - price is pretty amazing. Must be Chinese (but doesn't mean they're bad).

Most of the Continental Tyres we get in Australia are also made in China.

Looks as though they only make competition tyres - semi-slick, gravel / rally and full slick.
