What is the best option for Reverse Camera with Apple CarPlay?

Should I stick with original Navigation or get something replace with Apple CarPlay?

My car is E92 2008

Anyone know where in Bankstown I can get the best package with installation ?

I have a ccc android upgrade kit available for $450 plus freight. (From Melb) I decided not to install it as I use two sepeperate dvd players connected through xcarlink. Its resonably easy replacement of the original CCC screen/ adding most of BMW profiles plus all android features Still maintaing origianl CCC operations. there are plenty of Youtube install videos. and Im happy to give any directions for install. Both carplay and OEM reverse cameras are available cheaply on Ebay or Amazon

For about $500 you can get a new Android head unit. The processors have improved a lot in the last year or so. Do your homework. They are buggy as hell. I have one with car play and reverse camera. It works but there are tricks to get it to work properly. Example, if the sound is bad I push my reverse camera button on the dash after I come to a stop, then the sound is better, not as good as stock. The i drive kinda works on Apple car play but the button mapping is clunky. Phone calls suck through the head unit, one has to select bmw blue tooth. My jb4 app works.

Your assuming things a'rnt you? Did my homework hense the reason I didnt have the same issues your haveing. As you claim to have been doing YOUR home work you would be aware that there are many OS sellers offering units around $500 which are old sub standard, poorly speced units with bad sound quality and interface issues. especially when reverse cammera is incorectly fitted. Sound familiar??
