Engine is idling loud
The sound of my engine in Park or at a stop light has gotten louder and louder over the last 2 months. I think the tachometer is also running a little higher. Any way to adjust?

grab a BMW specific scanner and pull codes
Carly and bimmergeeks are good choices (unless you wanna commit and get INPA with a K+DCAN cable) |

If you have a tune on your car, you can adjust the min idle rpm. I'm guessing you don't, but if you live in a colder climate it could maybe have an effect, that's usually start ups though. A lot of gas stations are switching to winter fuel at this time too I think, so maybe resetting fuel adaptations could do it.
Besides that, watch your temps because of possible water pump. |
