N51 crackling engine noise when accelerating.

So I can’t recall how long this been going on.
When the car is accelerating, there is a crackling noise in the engine r
When I remove my foot of the gas pedal is goes away.
Also tried using the cruise control to accelerate and it happens as well.
I have recorded a video. First few seconds is very little as I was going slow. Then it comes up as i step on the gas.
2008 328i convertible about 93k

Any help would be appreciated.
