Thanks for the vid. Sounds great. I want to tone down the high end rasp. It's deafening at high rpms especially in a tunnel. Fun for a while but I'm a older more mature version of myself. Coming from a guy who used to love driving through indoor parking lots and setting off the car alarms when I was younger lol. In my 30's I laugh at the some of the stuff I used to do with my older cars and the mods I had. At one point I had an Integra that was slammed to the floor with neon underglows 😅

Anyone know if these would fit the 335is bumper? If not, would some trimming help? Not sure why no one has really made anything similar to the m3 splitters for the 335is bumper.

Wouldn't consider them at all they look weird as mentioned. From my understanding I have only seen 1 lip for the 335is and it's the one everyone has and I don't really like it. I guess I'm keeping the front end stock.

There are a BUNCH of lips for the 335is. It uses a regular M-sport bumper, just like tons of regular 335i.

No, there are a lot of options and they would be about the same price as the two little splitters.

I guess if you don't like the full lip design go for the splitters. I think I would paint match them so they don't look funky on the car.

Haha well I can say the resonators aren't really going to help with that considering you are removing 2 cats. The car is still loud as hell and I enjoy going through a tunnel and max out the RPMs. Like, the resonators just help the car not sound like a riced out Civic IMO. The loudness is still as much just less raspy ya know.

Where do you guys buy your lip? The issue I found is there doesn't seem to be any more reputable sellers, like for example RW carbon stopped carrying the E92 lip and anyways RW carbon isn't 100% carbon, probably all the lips on the market are like that, it's all ebay stuff and all 500$ to now.

Mine is from RW and yeah the quality is not so good. I would say ebay or Aliexpress is probably your best option.
Pretty sure any one who sells them in North America is getting them from Aliexpress anyway.

It is all eBay stuff. I bought the carbon fiber kidney grills from them and it wouldn't even snap into place. They were sent from their vendor which I'm sure it's made in China and marked up. They looked identical to the kidney grills you find on eBay for half the cost.

Almost all the stuff for E90/2 is coming from the same vendors in China I would assume. Everything looks exactly the same from what I've seen and they all mark them up the same. I'd just get something from ebay or Aliexpress personally

I really want to do a clean, is-like foglight delete on my E90 M-Sport, and maybe I could find one of the blank switch panels on a few wrecked ones I know about.

My coupe does not have the button for the fog lights. The fog lights only came with the convertible 335is model.

I am pretty sure they are easy to convert or mod. I have a friend that added the button and made it so when he pushes it the brake lights flash without actually hitting the brakes.

Yeah I activated my my rear fog lights but that's a factory thing, is the brake light flash a custom thing he did or a factory feature? I'm curious how he did it flash if it's all custom.

I'm not sure, I haven't seen him in a couple years but I am going to try and meet up this year so I will ask.
