Intermittent no sound on android head unit.

I have an issue when sometimes when I turn the car on the android head unit has no sound output at all. Turning it off and on again fixes the issue. I can hear a faint "pop" from the speakers when it comes back on again. I have logic 7 and an optical decoder box if that makes any difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Bump. Anyone? When it happens I have to completely turn the can off and wait for it to reset before it will work again. The reset button does not fix it.
