The ARM 5" intercooler is a direct bolt on deal. Worked fine for me on stage 2+. Lot of options out there.

I’ll be sure to check out ARM! Thank you! With the 5’ FMIC, you didn’t need to cut any factory parts in order to fit it in?

Our most popular choice currently is the MAD intercooler. They are offered in 5" and 7.5" race core

The second most popular are the Wagners

Third, are the ARM intercoolers

We have got all three brands in stock

stupy, unless you are going to go all hog wild on the power upgrades, the 5" will suffice.

The CXracing intercooler is the best one out there for IATs.

I got the wagner evo 1 and am happy with it. It fit well, no cutting or trimming required. A trade off with intercoolers is that bigger units present a bigger air volume to pressurize between your turbo and your cylinders = laggier. You might not notice, but unless you plan on driving really aggressively for extended periods (tracking) your probably better off not getting a gigantic intercooler.

+1 for Wagner EVO I for a daily driver , one of the most popular intercoolers

Go with the one easiest to install. You'll never know the difference when driving, but you'll drive yourself nuts during the install trying to cut things off and get a good seal with silicone couplers. Get something that literally snaps in with the OEM connections. If I had to do it all over again I would do that instead.

+1 a direct-fit 5" intercooler will be a major upgrade over stock and is very easy to install.

Some of the options:
  • Wagner EVO 1
  • MAD 5"
  • ARM 5"
  • BMS replacement intercooler
  • CTS Intercooler

Got a CSF from X-PH, temps never rise on a pull and decrease a couple of degrees in colder weather. Anything is better than stock really

VRSF or BMS 7.5" will keep IATs in check. They require a little more cutting to the plastic shroud above the stock FMIC than other options but totally worth it. The only FMIC you'll need.

the 7"+ intercoolers are great for stage 2+ applications, MAD Race with their high-density core and Wagner Tuning EVO III are great options as well for that kind of power
