And...if all else fails, call the Dinan guys and tell them what's going on - see if they have any insights as to what would cause the reduction in pressure. After all, they make an FMIC as well, and it is matched up with their Stage 3 software. Could be something in that stage that allows for the extra capacity in the larger intercooler. Lots of possibilities, so try things one at a time until you hit on a cause/solution.

So to fix the issue I went to the dealer bcuz of a fuel pump issue and when I got it back it was running fine..... I'm guessing that I should've reloaded the tune after the install, there were no leaks and the car runs GRRRRREAT(TONY THE TIGER VOICE).. Lol. Sorry for taking so long to post my findings I just was so happy with the new found power I forgot to post....

please find it in ur tuning hearts to forgive me???

P.S. Thanks for the help both positive and negative.

Ok, I am having an IC issue, its still the same. I have seen oil at a connection, leaking past the Hose clamp. I tightened it as far as it will go. I am going to try a hump coupler to see if it will allow some flex between pipes without wrinkling the coupler by trying to tighten it down to far. Also going to try to pressure test the unit to see if its leaking.

I talked to the guys at ER. They said if there is a leak in the core, thats it... Im done.

I know its alot like a radiator, can I fill the ic with water and use radiator leak fix to plug a hole if I find one?

You can't.

Welding is the only way to fix it if it's a leak at the core.

Im researching similar units

I see how most have the hump coupler on the cold side coming up to the charge pipe. I have seen oil leaking here from the connection. T bolt clamp is tight as can be but I think the angle might be crumpling the silicone. I have 2 hump couplers on the way, one for the ic - lower pipe and one for lower pipe - charge pipe. That should address the stress of the pipe angles.
