Picked the car up from the dealer and....

I am greeted with this:

Gave the car in for some work to be done under warranty and this was not on the engine bay before I dropped it off. Really should have checked before I left.

Going to chase them up today but anyone got a clue what could be the cause?

Its an e93 335i, 2007.

To me it just looks like the aftermath of a typical engine oil and coolant fill?

Which would be fine if that's what it went in for.

It went in for suspension work.

Looks as though the bleed screw has been letting coolant by.
Mine was leaking a few months ago, made a similar mess.
I made the mistake of thinking I could just tighten it up a tad but unfortunately the plastic head snapped off & I had to drill into it so as I could get a flat head screwdriver in there to undo it.
As for the oil maybe, if that's what it is looks like a spill from tipping up.
