Hi guys, im a new member but a long time reader on this forum. I hope you guys can help me understand my data log. I’ve installed a DP and CP 3 days ago and tuned with mhd stage 2. I tried to do a quick pull data logging for the first time and wasn’t even sure if i did it right so please bare with me. I think i didn’t even make past 5500 rpm as the road i was on wasn’t sufficient to do so. I pulled the log and i noticed that my car has made timing corrections on all cylinders and they are all over, i’ve tried reading about it and it seems no good.
So now i need some help with this.

Here’s my car’s background history:
2011 335i xdrive 6spd with 140k km
MHD stage 2 91oct, vrsf dp and cp, muffler delete.
Cylinder head, vanos solenoids, vcg, hg, ofhg has been replaced through warranty roughly about 25k km ago.
MAF and oem sparkplugs, waterpump, t-stat has been replaced 20k km ago.
I believe the coils hasnt been replaced ever since and now on my next to do list.
I don’t race or abuse my car, quick 2nd to 3rd gear wot maybe once or twice a month.
I suspect i’m having the infamous pcv problem for n55 as i can hear chipmunks like sound intermittently when braking and coming to a stop.

Does having a bad coils can affect timing corrections?
Here is my log.

Hope you guys can help me. Thanks a lot!
Appreciate it!

If ur looking for a magical solution ull be disappointed.

Since u said km i am assuming ur in canada. Dont run that map anymore. You will ruin ur engine. You clearly dont have good fuel.. in canada run acn 91. Unless ur using special high octane fuel for racing.

Change ur coils but thats not going to magically make u run this map. But good gas will. (Higher octane)

Yes, i'm in Canada and i run Shell V power 91oct. so what you're trying to say is that it might be the gasoline that's throwing these timing corrections is that right? So, what kind of map would you suggest of me to run then? thanks.

The tuner made 91 ACN map. Stage 1. I know you have supporting maps but you have to listen to what your car is telling you. The maps are not custom and will not work as well for everyone. Your corrections happen because knock is detected. Knock is a very destructive condition. Cylinder chamber pressures during knock are much higher. High octane fuel is more knock resistant. The fuel in canada is not the best.

Run 91 ACN and see the difference. A bigger intercooler and down pipe are not going to compensate for canadian winter butane filled gas..

91 from shell or any station works ok with acn 91. Obv you dont get as much power out of it but its safer for your car.

So 94 octane i found works ok for me with 91 map stage one. Stage 2 i would not touch unless i had e30 or meth.
