I figured it out. There is an option that says “bi xenons” you must disable that option and I’m guessing the FRM module starts to think it has halogen lights and boom, high beams working like they should. No additional wiring needed, just plug in and code.

You must also disable the adaptive headlight option so you don’t get any errors.

Mine did that for the FRM1 no problem. With my FRM2, even with it disabled it still acts as bixenon smh

Apparently ProTool is better than Carly, is this true? I’m don’t know which one i should take between those two, i’m leaning a bit more towards ProTool because it doesn’t have a subscription like Carly does.
Does anyone know if BimmerGeeks ProTool wil work on a E46 316i/318i and on a E90 320i? Also what BimmerGeeks cable/adapter is the best Expert K+DCAN Cable or Pro K+DCAN Cable or ProTool Bluetooth Adapter?
Is it easy to use if you never used a obd before?
Is their a way to check temper mileage with ProTool like Carly has with their used car check?
I have an iPad/iPhone but ProTool is only for Android can anyone recommend me a good cheap Android tablet Samsung, Lenovo, ... or know if they are gonna release it for ios or if i buy on Android will it be possible to use it on ios if they ever release it on there without paying twice for it?
I probably gonna use it to diagnose and do some coding aswell later on, but the first time i will use the obd is when a go look look at used cars.

I have BimmerCode with Advance features, which I have no idea how to use, yet.
It works with my low profile Bluetooth I have from before.
Is this ProTool better than BimmerCode? I was not able to turn off the Speedo Correction with BimmerCode. Carly says not for US cars.

Did you make a how to video for the pro tool app yet? If so, please share...

I will edit it tonight and post it.
It’s going to be lengthy. I covered it all but tried to keep it short. But I go over the gist of what it can do and how coding works on it.

Can I use any standard OBD > BT converter? I have one for my wife's car. Will that connect to the protool app okay?

I know what it says on the app, just sounds like BS.

Probably not.

There are special protocols used by the DCan hardware that most ODB readers can't use.

There are 4 things I'm looking for

Change the number of windshield wiper sweeps after spray
removing winter temp gong?
Tpms removal (I've read this thread, this can be done)
Remove cruise control braking

I'm hoping that Protool can do this. I hadn't heard of it until now, but I like this option since my only pc is a work one that I cannot install software on

Cheers

You might directly send an email to bimmergeeks.
I think this is the best of the phone apps and they
always seem to adding stuff and it's not a subscription
service.

I've had it with Carley, and this app seems much more versatile anyways.

Can this app code a lpfp from Ekpm2-Ekpm3?

Where you go to reset the windows from coming back down after you reach the top using protool? your help will be appreciated

I think the app just has a general initialize windows. Assuming all your regulators and window motors are working, this should reset the windows.
What are you trying to do with your windows?

I emailed them, they responded almost immediately on a Sunday evening.

"Yes, you would be able to use the app for that. Default Code the module then if needed. You can also enter the Functions menu and complete the Voltage Fix function if tuned."

I haven't tried yet. Let me know if you do.
