Oil Cap Stuck?
For some reason I can't get the oil cap (where you add oil, not the filter housing) off. I don't want to use too much force since I have no idea if it'll break.
Any suggestions or does it just require that much force? |

Yes it can get tight - and I find the square shape not as easy to grip as a round one...

You are turning it counter-clockwise, right? Or it may be open but just not flipped up; it does not unscrew all the way off. It turns about 60 degrees and then flips open.

I'm not sure if this situation is unique to me, but mine is hard to open because the engine cover bulges around it a little bit... I have to push the cover down some and then the cap is easy to remove.
