Achu waiting patiently for your car to come back alive.

For me meatier tyres look better, and better traction in the dry. I run the max on a 9.5J, 275. You can easily run 275 on an 11j but its just rubbing issues depending on your offset. Sometimes wider tyres are cheaper, so go for the max!

damn that must bulge like a racecar tyre lol!

yeah 275 is the smallest i should be running on 11j, but at et30 it could rub... i thiiinkkk if i roll my arches to the max and max out the camber, i could fit in some 275s... then i'll sell these falkens and buy some new vreds

Yeah it does have a nice buldge but its not too much.

Vreds are what i run they are very good. Rears are running low so i might sell the front and try out PSS.

I guess you're going for the stretched look? Have you, or are you going to be modding for performance? If so then the wider the better

yeah definitely, PSS are a bit too expensive imo, not worth the extra (had them on my dads e60 and now hes on Vreds)... they do have a nice bulge to them as well, fit wider than Vreds

and noo i want to run as much tyre as possible, but i want my rim to be flush as well, that's why i went for 11j - so i can run a fat tyre and still have a bit of stretch

thanks guys

a little teaser... well a bit more than a teaser.... the repairs are coming to an end...

a few little niggles to sort out:
- the newly wrapped parts are a slightly different colour to the old parts so im having words with 3M; also the bonnet is too be wrapped, but a little differently
- there's a few little problems with the alignments of windows and tiny bits that need to go on
- i'm soon getting a security system installed with a proximity, shock and tilt sensor (maybe even remote start + GPS tracking)
- a good clean!

after all this is done, i'm gonna take it to a nice location for some epic photography and i shall post them all up

anyways, i'd like to thank all you guys for being really supportive, i know you wouldn't think reading words on a laptop would make me feel better about this whole situation but it really did... i don't even care that it's hit my wallet, my insurance has gone up and my car is a Cat D... i just love how it looks now
