I used the dealer for the first two or three services then I discovered Andrew@SouthernBM
Haven't been back to the dealer since except for minor warranty work relating to interior trims |

Don't find dealer servicing expensive at all. Free loaner, car washed, work done quickly and without issue plus any warranty stuff is taken care of while it's there. $1100 for 3 years servicing ( including 3 extra interim oil changes) is fine compared to the other costs.

How did you get it so cheap Johnnydad? $1100 for 3years?
This car is only 1 year old and 1st+2nd service at 25000km costed over $1200 I find that $256.43 just for a oil service seems a bit crazy consider other shops charge $350 for the whole car diagnostic. |

that's why you should negotiate scheduled servicing when you buy a BMW

I take mine back to BMW. Can't find any decent euro mechanic plus they give me loan car on top of usual car wash. Always love driving loan car coz u never know what u will get. Got a few nice car as loan cars before such as F10 528, E93 335, E93 320d, 135 convertible, E70 X5 etc in the past years. But most times it 320i...
TBH, BMW service is probably the cheapest compare to Audi, Merc. I think we are paying close to what VW are charging their customers so I don't think i would ever bother finding someone else unless we have someone like Andrew here in Brissy.

like my previous car, I will take the car to dealer for the normal or light services (change oil, air filter, checking, etc), also to keep the warranty valid.
But when the dealer advice to change some parts (break pad, AC filter, etc - which consider mid-heavy service) , I'll shop around, find the parts and ask independent workshop to install it - Much2 cheaper than buy the parts and ask dealer to install. |
