All equipment was originally purchased in 2012 from BimmerTech as a retrofit for a CCC in a 2008 M3 E90. Selling the vehicle now, so the CIC iDrive system has been removed and is for sale. My original equipment cost for the CIC system (not including coding) was around $3500.

The CIC equipment includes:

1) CIC Navigation retrofit (includes head unit, display, controller, and all necessary cables / connectors)

2) Combox Media PnP Retrofit (bluetooth phone, data, messages, and audio)

3) 6NR ConnectedDrive Retrofit (iPod audio / video control, including album cover art, BMW apps)

4) M3 center console trim (black)

5) 2013 Maps Upgrade (purchased in 2013)

Activation would need to be purchased separately from Patryk at Bimmertech (there may be other alternatives for coding and activation, although I highly recommend Patryk for his technical expertise, flexibility, and responsiveness, plus he knows this specific system and what options it includes). I discussed with him already and he has offered to provide coding for free if you purchase activation from him. There are several alternatives for activation (see the navigation retrofit link above), the least expensive of which is the PnP activation for around $400. Patryk does an excellent job...he codes the system remotely while talking with you through Skype. He can answer any questions on the different activation options, or on the hardware install.
