Rear on my Eibach Pro springs came out too low

Rear is a bit too low; Thought the Eibach Pro is supposed to be a subtle drop (.8 - 1inch)? Any idea why my stance came out pretty aggressive? Paired with Koni Sport Dampers. May have to swap out Rears to even a more subtle drop.

Looks about exactly the same as when I had them. I too was surprised by how aggressive the drop was, not like them on many other platforms where you still have some wheel gap vs. tucking tire in the rear.

That being said I drove for 5 years like that with an Mtech front bumper and CF lip and never had any issues. The rear higher is going to look odd as your front will look like it is point down vs. being flat. You already have that big body line crease that points down.

You will be fine.

Thanks for the info..what did ya switch to? I may switch my rears to another setup as it gets really bumpy, noisy back there..I want it to be more flush too.

What OP is likely experiencing is the downside of springs that are 1 (or maybe 2) sizes fit all. Is your car highly optioned (= weighs more)?

BMWP springs come in various rates and get selected for your car based on options. They do cost somewhat more than Eibachs and probably of no better quality.

Ohlins road and track coilovers and a shit ton of other suspension parts. I am at the same height now basically. I think my suspension cost me more than my single turbo kit.

If the height does not interfere with your daily activities, driveway, speed bumps, etc. I say just keep it for a while and see if it grows on you.

I do have the Mtech Rear/Front bumper + CLS Style Trunk. That prob explains why my car is heavier. Did not think of this when I bought the Eibach's. Totally makes sense now. Will see if the Dinan springs may be a better option. Thanks

You could always swap the rear back to stock sport springs...they're the same spring rate, so it shouldn't make a difference...or shim them with appropriate height OEM rubber spring pads.

If you go Dinan, do Dinan all the way around...those spring rates are actually stiffer than stock, unlike the Eibachs.

AT vs MT is a pretty big weight difference. Also, options like power seats, navigation, sunroof add weight.

So just had my Dinan springs set up on both Front/Rear. Car does run much smoother, softer and much less bumpier. Rears look perfect but do wish the front were a bit lower. Hopefully it drops a lil as it settles.

Damn that is slammed. It looks much more like Sportline than Pro Kit. Sure you got the right springs?

I've never seen any E9X be that low on Pro Kit.

Get the E36 bump stops or the lowering perch for the front to balance it out with the squatted rear.

Putting new Turbos in next week (Pure 600). Maybe that will add to the front drop as well.

E36 front bump stop + Supreme Power Lowering Perch should be about 1" drop in the front.

Why would the E36 bump stops be different than the current e92 bump stops I have now? Diff size?

Also which is the correct part #? I see both labeled e36 Bump stops:

E36 bump stops are shorter. They're commonly used used to add additional shock travel when lowering springs are used. very popular mod in the e9x M3 fourm

Nice! I already had the bump stops from previous use M, but I also just ordered the perches. Waiting on the invoice now.
