Same here, When you have the funds for turbo upgrade, rinse those stockers

Stockers will be screaming for dear life if not seriously damaging something trying to hit 600whp. Even 500whp on stocks is PUSHING it, you'll need at least upgraded turbos for 600 and you'd be smart to get an LSD or you'll have a lot of trouble using that 600. If you have $5k, imo either save up ~8k and follow the most recent message or just go FBO and enjoy the ~450whp and a little extra cash left for whatever you may please, ssk if an mt, LSD, coils, m3 arms, whatever you could think of.
Stock turbos won't last very long at 500hp 😂😉

You'd probably only reach 450hp, at best, on stage 2+ and that's with inlets & outlets. With a custom back end flash tune that utilizes the inlets & outlets more effectively, you'd probably hit 500hp.

Look into RB OEM Billets. Way better than OEM replacements and they cost less

+1,

Have you installed RB OEM Billets, and what power/torque are you making?

I did install them in January. I also did the rod
bearings. I just cleared 1000 miles & changed the oil.

I'm in a the process of changing the front & rear sway bar links to the Eibach version this weekend. I live in Michigan, so I might have to wait for a good day to test her out. I'll post it once I do. Weather here is sort of unpredictable May 1. So, probably in May.

I'm a bit clueless with suspension components, are control arms the same thing as track rods or they separate components?

Is your IS DCT or manual? Any where near 600hp and you will need to get a trans tune to increase line pressure.
I have a 2011 IS DCT and I can assure you will need closer to 10K to get near 600 reliably.
Don't forget a diff brace, you will have rear end sway near the 400hp mark.

I have 19T turbos and they do spool fast and put out lots of power but it would be cheaper and take less boost going ST. But for a daily you can't beat Twins.

I don't know what "track rods" are. I strongly recommend the M3 control arm set; makes a huge difference in feel and handling, and OEM reliability.

Coilovers are good too. ST makes some low cost reliable ones; I've been running mine for about five years.

I did a WOT run the other day & the data was way off. I think it's due to wheel hop. I'm using Log Dyno App.

So, I'll be looking to get the Monroe upper shock mounts & see if that helps. If not then I'll get the BMS differential brace.

I can say she is very responsive & smooth. I'm on MHD 2+ v9.0. The car just keeps pulling & pulling throughout the power band.

Typically a street dyno is pulled from a 3rd gear log. You're not thinking you're getting wheel hop in 3rd gear, are you? Virtual Dyno has always worked well for me.

You aren't getting 600whp out of an N54 unless you are running some sort of PI setup.....oem DI injectors just can't flow enough fuel, which is going to need to be e85.

Even with a nice set of bigger twins, 500hp seems to be the limit if you are forced to stay on pump gas, unless you want to use some sort of meth injection setup...which seems kind of risky to me.

Stock turbos, FBO, and an ethanol tune....you are probably going to make in the neighborhood of 425-ish whp.

Try the V7 Stage 2+ tune.....it feels much better than the V9 tune. The V9 seems pretty weak until you really get high up in the RPMS

As far as wheel hop....look at upgrading your rear subframe bushings.......that makes a HUGE different in getting rid of wheel hop. I have pretty much no wheel hop after installing my harder poly subframe bushings.

Yep, doing a 3rd gear pull starting around 2500-3000 rpms

Not sure why the data is messed up. The guys at log Dyno say it's from wheel hop

I'm using XHP stage 2. I could use stage 3, but that will probably make it worse until I figure this out

You mind sharing the log? I'd like to run it through Virtual Dyno and see if the results are the same.

I deleted it actually. I will run another one soon. I'm gonna wait until the temps get over 60 degrees. It's stupid cold here in Michigan right now. Mother Nature is confused 🤷*♂️

Once I get one, I'll share no issues.
