The sensor is cool and all, but totally unnecessary. The math isn't hard at all. And like others have said, testers are cheap. You can even make your own. I've found the e85 in my area to be 70% ethanol, so I mix it 2:1 to achieve an e50 blend. I've been doing this for a year now.

It really depends on how you do it. A clean 335i with low miles, tasteful mods, a set of nice RB turbos, and full service records is going to get you more than a dead stock 335i with no service records and stock turbos.

That being said.....a 335i with leaking ebay china turbos, lowered to the ground with stupid looking wheels on it, and a massive wing on it.....is probably going to get you much less than a nice stock 335i in good shape.

But do what you want..it's your car 👍

I agree with that. Basically where I'm at now minus the turbo's. More upgrades, harder it is too sell. For instance trying to find my brother a low mileage 335i. Steered clear of anything that was heavily modified. Most people don't want or need that in a car. I personally like to start with a blank canvas.

Well I'm thinking a barrel and a LPFP upgrade only is in my future. Someone else local to me posted they are selling e85 by the barrel. Probably store it in my Dad's shop instead of my own garage and just grab 5 gallons at a time as I want it.

Thanks for the help guys.

I feel compelled to add that sometimes "Happy Time" leads to traffic court. Of course I don't know anything about that!

At a car show a guy had the following at the top of his rear window:

"They can't catch all of us."

I guess he won't be talking his way out of anything
