Where are you doing your pulls at? I work out of Tampa (Live in the Brandon area).

Nothing beats the feel of a DCT man, 8 speed or not an auto is just not like a DCT. That's why am holding on tight to my E92..

Here's a couple dyno runs. The first is JB4 on Map2 and the second is with the JB4 turned off so basically factory software with downpipes and a intake. Not exactly what you're looking for but close.

I have a buddy that does dyno tuning. Maybe I'll rent his dyno for a couple hours and do a 100% stock pull and a 100% stock pull with the Cobb (both the sport and aggressive maps)

If I did this, would I need to let adaptations take place? I know when you do a mod, a few hundred miles is necessary to adjust the ECU. Is it the same when you switch maps? (Remember Cobb AP flashes the car, not a piggyback)

I don't think adaptation is necessary for Cobb tune. Jb4 on the other hand requires a few hundred miles...

Any body with the stock IS exhaust has done a quad tip conversion? Did you notice any sound change or any change at all from the exhaust tone?
Thanks

No but I just did a muffler delete today. Sounds fantastic. Not too much louder, but just right. Deeper idle, throatier mids, and more pronounced crackle.

Do you have catless downpipes?

Nope, but I will in a few weeks. I'm worried it's going to be too loud.

Holy $hit Those are some HUGE differences in boost response.

Had a good day today. JB4 was removed (Car wasn't digging it) and met up with Jake@PTF for an in person ProTune on the Dyno. Car is an Animal now (Stock and ProTune only) and Im getting the Mod itch! FMIC next. Im also gonna give an e85 mix a shot.

Can say enough good things about the PTF guys. I would highly recommend them!

Haha Ya. Snow Tires FTW! Im not scared of the white stuff and I just wash off all the salt.

We could still hook up and do a comparison test between the JB4 and Cobb tunes?

My car wasn't liking the JB4, it was starting to throw boost error codes regularly and I just wanted it out. It seems some cars like the piggybacks more then others. I am happy now as the power is coming on very linear unlike what I was experiencing with the JB.

I sold the JB4 on eBay in less then a day. I was gonna put it on the forum classifieds but eBay was easier.

Here are some of the Dyno runs we did while ProTuning my car. This Dyno reads low.

My JB4 went 15 minutes after posting it here. Then again, I was only asking $200.00.
Glad to have that thing out of my car too. Congrats on the new tune.

Thanks. I wanted to recoup some of the money spent on the JB for the ProTune. I listed it for $400 bucks w/USB and it sold pretty quickly.

You can get a Cobb v2 for $700 from **********s. It's no different then the newer v3 except the v3 has a bigger fancier screen and might load a little quicker.

An eTune is $250 and an in person ProTune is $350.
