N52 at 50k miles, things to check?

My car is quickly nearing the 50k mark. Anything I should check before the warranty is up? I drive predominantly highway (and 6MT) so the car does not need brakes, and was just in for an oil change recently. Never had any issues with this car (not even ticking at idle), aside from a faulty tail light assembly that was replaced under warranty.

I'm not buying the CPO warranty, and only plan on keeping it for another 5-6 months or 6-10k miles (waiting on F30 ZMP). I know water pump is a common issue, but that should be after 75k?

Water pump and t-stat will typically be changed at the same time but mine failed at 60k. You should be fine.

Forgot to mention that. For me, that came first then the water pump. Hope your car is nice to you.

Actually the only maintenance required at 50,000 miles is an engine airfilter.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

So water pump and thermostat are the big ones. I'm not worried about battery or interior bits. Car looks like new since I'm a DIY detailer and I baby the hell out of it. If all goes according to plan, it will be at around 55-60k miles when the new car arrives.

The car needs an inspection so I will have my SA check oil filter gasket and engine air filter before 50k.

Leave it alone. Oil change, filter, use techron, detail the car, give it some love. Thats all you need. dont fix something that isnt broken.

For future ref:
Xmission oil @100k
Diff oil
CoolAnt & brake flush.

They won't fix what's not broken.

I changed my transmission and differential fluids at 50k since I plan to keep it for the long haul. Not necessary, but it couldn't hurt. Don't worry about it if you're planning on trading it soon.
