Lowest mileage manual e90 for sale

Hello everyone- I have enjoyed my e90 that I purchased last year. I purchased a 545i e60 and need to pass this gem on to someone that can appreciate it as much as I do. It should run for a looooong time yet.

It had 22,000 miles on it at the time and now it has just over 30,000. It was a very rare find, and I had to have it shipped to me from southern Missouri. I bought it from Columbia Mercedes, and they did most of the service over the years and I can send you the Carfax if you are interested.

I am able to help you with a shipping company if needed. Reach out to me with any questions.

More details in this listing https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...5827733497501/

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

The car sold quickly to the first local person that came to look at it. I have some seller's remorse!

It's common and it'll fade. I sold my 2008 Audi A4 2.0T 6MT that I had conservatively modded just to my liking. I sold it for market value on FB and got my new 2011 E91 from my neighbor for wholesale (what Carmax offered him). It was a great financial deal for me, but when my A4 drove away, I sure was sad. I still miss it, but the 328xi Wagon is so cool looking and fun as well, .... I'll get over it.

Wow, that Audi is really sharp.

The wagon is really cool too.

Why can't we just keep all the cars that we want?

I sold the e90 because I bought a rare manual 545i e60. I ended up having to pay around $3,000 over book price for it.

It does have waaaay more features and power than my e90. I guess the price difference will be made up in additional repair costs that will be needed.

I took the 545i on a tour through the local hills with a BMW club and was with a group with a M2 and M4. It was really fun trying to keep up in the twisties. The active anti-roll suspension really helps the bigger car stay flat.

Here was the listing of the e60: https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3gV...bmw-545i-sedan

$8500 strikes me as a steal for all that car. Well bought.

Also, there are ways to replace the valve seals without removing heads. Check out AGA valve seal replacement tool. And I’d thrown some seal conditioner in there to hedge your bet!

Thank you for the recommendations. I will add some of the Liqui Moly 2020.

Looking at this product, I am not sure if we would benefit from running it in N52s to help keep the gaskets supple longer? Even if it meant that valve cover and OFGs laster longer, that would be worth it at $10 an oil change.

I am not sure how redundant it would be if you are also using Liqui Moly oil.

Hopefully it will help with those valve seals though!

I like some of the easier ways to fix the coolant pipe and valve seals. Those make me feel a little better knowing those don't have to be $5,000 repairs.

That E60 545 is pretty nice. A friend of mine has one with the SMG; not as fun as a manual but better than a traditional automatic.

Trust me, I get the seller's remorse... Still kicking myself I let my E30 go in 2006. Had it 18 years since new. Ugh.

The valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket suck. Crappy design. No amount of snake oil will keep them "supple". The engine does have good crank seals at both ends though.

That actually really sucks; sorry for rubbing it in but damn, I feel for you man. I've had my e30 since 2012 and regularly get comments like "wow you've owned it for such a long time!"

Well, I had both the E90 and E30 for a few months before I sold the E30. In all honesty the E90 was a much nicer car and lost nothing in handling to the E30, and I kept the E30 in perfect shape. At the time in 2006 I had a F150 pickup and my wife's Z3 and Jeep, so five cars was making me feel I bit hoard'ish.

Guess what, fast forward to 2019 I have 4 BMWs now and a Hummer Pickup. LOL.

I have a lot of room for cars around this place.

Not sure how my wife is going to take it when the New Bronco shows up some time in 2021/2022...

Yeah, she's a female, "happy" is not captured in the DNA string...

I see your point. I guess you'll just have to muddle through like the rest of us and remember, it's always easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission... probably more expensive, but easier.
