FS: Hella "Whitelines" Clear/Red taillights pre-LCI
In like new condition, had on my car for a couple months, never really loved them on my particular color car. I've had them listed on eBay for a few days and just thought to share the sale with the actual E90 community (duh, on my part). I'll end that listing if we do a private sale, or if it's easier or more secure/legit for you, please feel free to hit up the listing. (I'm tomcom17 on eBay.) Asking $200 b/o., +$20 shipping, PayPal or Venmo. I'm in the Buffalo area but travel to NYC often, for local sale. Please feel free to PM me. Last edited by Buffalo66; 06-07-2018 at 09:21 AM.. Reason: Add shipping info. |

I never did get pics of my car, unfortunately. I'm not sure how to add pics here but if you feel like venturing over to eBay, there's pics of the actual taillights uninstalled.

Looks to me it's kinda like blacklines, but white instead of smoke at the top. Right? So no unique/different light bars etc?

yep, whiteline looks good on white and silver and grey cars
blacklines make good contrast on black and dark cars

Exactly. Basically, it carries the white from the trunk section straight over, instead of that sort of abrupt interruption look in the OEM tails. To me they sort of give the car a lower/wider look.
Every function of the lights works the same, except you get amber turn signals, as they're outfitted with amber bulbs up top in the clear part (brakes and marker lights are all bottom in the red part, same as OEM). No LED sections or anything like that, basically carbon copies of OEM tails but white top half also on the main sections. Even the bulb socket holder assembly looks identical. Also, I bought these from a BMW dealership, apparently they were(are?) available at dealerships for those "dealer installed upgrades". Last edited by Buffalo66; 06-16-2018 at 07:58 PM.. |
