Slicktop liner needed! I really don't care what color it is, as long as it is structurally sound. Thanks, friends.

Or perhaps look for a headliner repair shop? If you were in South FL, I could recommend one. I had our e46 wagon redone a few years back for about $350 or so. Came out great. I couldn't wait for a used one to come along, what with the fabric bucking in the breeze.

Thanks, brother. I want one because I'm replacing the sunroof on my car with a carbon sheet... so I want to remove the sunroof headliner to complete the vision. I WOULD just fill in the cutout.... but I am unsure of how good I can do it, DIY.... also don't want to spend an absolute ton at a local upholstery shop to do something snazzy like that

Local upholstery shop would be probably cheaper. In NA e90 slick top was sold in very little numbers, m3 exclusive, and used would probably cost you around $1000.
