*** Need to update the original halogen to about 4350k color temp......
I am looking to update the original halogen to somewhat white light around 4500k is what I am looking for. I do not want anything more blue. I have read few forums and have come across MTech 4350k H7 bulbs. Is there anything else that is comprable?
I am also looking to update the angle eyes to match the headlights. I see few on ebay that are cheaper and one's from lux that cost a bit more. Also is there one where you can control the brightness of the AE? Also what is out there for Xenon or HID? Anybody converting to these? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you |

If you are replacing the halogen headlight bulbs i would recommend around a 4350k color and have heard a lot of good feedback from people about this. It is a nice neutral white color that will still provide enough light output.

The best "white" H7 bulbs out there are probabaly Osram Cool Blue Intense or Phillips Whitevision. Both will outshine the MTECīs by a fair bit and they are around 4300K in colour. The upside is that both are also availble in H8 for AE mounting, but Im unsure about what bulb the AE in halogen cars use. In any case both also come in H3, H1, H7, H8, H11, HB4 and a bunch of others, so you can get the exact same color on the fogs/corners aswell

I dont believe there are any products out that for the E90 LCI Halogens that allow you to control the brightness of the lights. I'm not sure why you would want to either. There are a number of products available through the vendors of this forums, and we are also local in CT as well to you.

There is not an option that i am aware of for Xenon halogen angel eyes since its not a stock style bulb. I'm not sure what DID is either.
