Procede 2.5 and FREAKING 2EF7 code wont go away

I cannot figure this out.

I bought a Procede 2.5 from a member on here and it supposedly has a new harness. Now looking back that might seems suspicious.

I have installed and uninstalled this thing multiple times. On the stock DME the car runs perfect without throwing any codes for days. Within a few miles of driving with the Procede installed I get a SES light and code 2EF7. I can clear it and it comes right back.

What gives? What could this be?

I'm thinking I bought a busted Procede at this point
