Thank you sir! It has definitely been a long road of mods and taken most if not all of my money... I love it though and think it has definitely been worth it!

Hahaha really? I had no idea... My parents think its a waste of my money and it should be saved or invested but I look at it as a relatively "good" thing to spend money on. It gives me something to want to work for and also something to spend money on other than drugs or alcohol like most people our age

Yeah really haha I think my dad thought that for the first few months I had the car, I started off with like smaller upgrades that he thought was a waste of money then moved onto bigger things. I think he got over it after the KW's they were like $1400 (worst summer of my life saving up for it working at clothing stores) The only waste he thinks was the AA Tune but I had to get it done. But the last thing you said is verrrryy true I've noticed over the past couple years.

honestly, my take on it is, do it in moderation. spending, and enjoying the money you work so hard for is just as important as saving some of it. just this last summer, i unexpectedly lost two friends. both were 29 like myself. understanding is important, but its also worth knowing none of the money comes with you after your time is up. work hard, play hard.

+1 I have a budget on the side for modding. I don't like going (and never do) under a certain amount of money I have. Sorry about your loss :/ thats good advice, thanks bro.

Thanks man. My wife is super frugal w her money. Just how she was raised. But this loss was a big eye opener for her. Saving is great for tomorrow. But tomorrow's never a sure thing.

Hahaha yea I mean I definitely could be saving more money but I love making things unique. I'm sure we'll run into each other at a meet sometime soon

Yea once winter comes i'm going to start doing that. Now that i'm making a good amount of power I think maintenance is going to start hitting harder than it has been previously. I'm going to make sure to keep at least 1k in a savings account in case anything comes up. Hopefully I finally finish modding the car soon and can start saving up for whatever is next, but I feel like it's a never ending journey...

Agreed. Money needs to be saved but you also don't need to just save for nothing. What you said is so true, you never know what happens and you can't take the money with you. Sorry for your loss

Hahaha my mods were originally small then when I got the KW's and other things is when they thought I was crazy. As of now though they're over it and don't mind. They know it's better spending it like this than other ways

My wife thought I was crazy too, until I parted out and MADE a profit (buy used, buy smart!). These pictures make me want to buy another 335i; need to focus on finding the perfect cts-v wagon though.

Thanks man, vote for it for COTM if you feel like it. Too many f30's have been winning lately . Hmm that's actually a pretty interesting idea... If I crack or damage those side splitters I would highly consider that.

Thanks man! I think M3 mirrors would look awesome but problem is those are too rich for my blood at least right now... Maybe if I can find a good used set.

Couldn't agree with you more. Buying used is the way to go and has saved me a ton of money. For example, these wheels were $1700 with 500 miles on them, KW V1's for $750, etc... CTS-V wagon would be amazing

That's really deep. I think I was sort of discovering that on my own these past few months; I used to not spend much when going out with friends to try to save money but it's different now, my friends and I ask each other "are you balling tonight?" Implying if you're trying to have fun or something Lol but you really put some truth behind it for me.
