Added 30mm spacers to RW

My E91 has spt pkg and staggered tire sizes, but the only winter tires in these sizes are not RFT. Since I have no spare I refuse to use anything but RFTs and to do so I had to go to 225X45-17 all around.

As you can see from the photos, it looked really dorky hidden inside the wheel well. Now you can see the improvement by adding 30mm spacers to the rear.

A tremendous improvement and I am very impressed with the quality of H & R spacers!

30mm is huge on a 3-series. I achieved that same look on my E92 (with the 197 wheels) using 15mm H&R spacers.

25mm = roughly 1 inch, so that's pretty big. But then again, I'm running 1.75" spacers on my Range Rover w/factory 20's

the stagger was 225X45-17 fr
and 255X40-17 rear

that's a 30mm difference, so in my simple mind I went with a 30mm spacer to correct the difference.

Have you nailed a speedbump yet? Those look pretty tight.

Regardless, it looks 100x better w/ the spacers. Well done!

Yes, I've been over speedbumps and normal irregularities with no issues!

That doesn't really explain much, as those are just tire sizes. We need to know wheel offset specs in order to determine what spacer size to use.

I'm not knocking your pics, your car looks good none the less.

If you are using the same wheel, why would offset enter into it?

30mm = Aggressive! Nice job man.

I've got a question though. . .how big do spacers go?

This is very true, however, you went 30mm wider in width, which would only add 15mm to each side of the wheel. Regardless, big props to using some big boy sized spaces. Those 30mm spacers give your car a proper stance
