E93 lci rear light conversion question?
I have just fitted and coded genuine lci rear lights on my pre lci e93. All is perfect, apart from one thing. The rear fogs come on with the brake lights and when headlights are on, the only time they aren't on is in drl mode?!?!?
I have gone through everything, turned off all warnings and voltage checks and set the brake light parameters to normal pretty much. Has anyone else had this issue? Would be great to sort it as I am going to have some cheesed off people behind me |

Has no one had this problem really? It would be really helpful if someone could shed some light. I've become pretty handy with the coding side of Carly and still cannot figure out why on earth the rear fog lights are constantly. Any tips would be much appreciated

i had to swap the green/brown wire over with the yellow/brown wire. Some places sell a harness to do the conversion but you can crack open the case yourself and just swap them. |

So did you just de-activate the voltage check on the rear lights and indicators?
I'm about to do the same retrofit over the weekend so can report back. |

I've just turned mine on and I don't get the fog lights coming on I'm afraid. Coded all the voltage checks off and all seems to be working fine.
I'm assuming you get no errors on the dash? |

Going to do the same when funds permit, need to swipe some money so the Mrs wont see it.
What is the retro wiring you need to get hold off. And I had a look on ECP and they are advertised. |

Apparently the fog light issue is caused when the E93 specific harness is not used as the inner lights need a harness, not just the outer
E93 harness is 61122181311 and has four wires not just two, just purchased it for mine, although also just found out my LCI lights are not E93 but E92's as they are slightly different so not happy. |
