Mod because you like/want to. Not to keep up with people on the board. I think that's a given already. Personally i mod because i like it, and it's been in me since i was a kid, so it's natural. How far you want to go is ultimately up to you. Some are mild, and some go full blown crazy!

i've been into modding since freshmen year in high school. the only thing holding me back more than i did back then and now is the amount of cash flow i see coming in. if my car could transform into an apt with a bathroom and shower and kitchen, i'd live in my car and then i'd have an extra $500/month to spend on my car.

very true. As you get older, priorities shift and you spend money on other things. Which is good. If you have left over money, or you saved for a part, then it's all good. Just be smart with your money, which i'm sure you are.
