I agree, but when some of the parts bags are already open, and it comes from Cotswold BMW with parts all open with a jiffy bag enclosed hand written 'small parts' it had definitely been tampered with. Whenever I'd received parts from them in the past everything was always in sealed brand new bags so I trusted them that everything would be there.

My fault for taking so long to do the retrofit and find out parts were missing, but when I began the conversion not long after getting the parts, the first parts I noticed missing were the exhaust hangers so my project was on hold. It was sold as a "complete kit for the 335d" but then they couldn't get hold of the exhaust hangers, and I was put off getting the welder out for too long. It sounds like they had made up my kid from parts they had laying around.
