No age limit in Leavenworth, and no age limit to join the cruise. It's a family friendly event. You'll even be able to get into the beer gardens because they're all-age, you just won't be able to drink (obviously)

This will be my first year going, but my friends who have gone previous years told me there are cops waiting near the places we park and scout those who don't have front license plates to give out tickets. Does anyone know if this is true?

I hope not, because i don't have mine on. I'll go anyway, but if I see cops, I will exit immediately. I hate when cops come around events looking for reasons to ticket people. That's just filling a quota, and has nothing to do with protecting the citizens from harm.

It's funny *knock on wood* .. West Seattle cops haven't said a word to me .. and a few of them coming into the banking center. All of them told me that they don't pull anyone over just for no license plate, but it may be added in addition to whatever else infraction that caused you to be pulled over (speeding, running a red light, etc)

Leavenworth is a tiny town with a tiny police force to match. Yes a few people receive no front plate tickets every year, however with over 1,000 cars on the cruise and only one or two police officers in Leavenworth, that's the chance you take if you don't have a front plate. Your odds of getting a ticket on this side of the mountain are much greater.
