Hello,

So i have a 07 328xi coupe and I am looking to get either some 18 or 19 M359 wheels but i honestly don't know a lot about wheel set ups such as width, offset ect. From the reading i have done i have read that i can't really do a staggered set up due to awd. I hoping to lower my car with some spring as well as i really want it to just look right. If you guys could help me out with wheel width, tires and offset that would be amazing! Thanks in advance!!

You can run staggered on xdrive as long as the diameters are within 1%.

Just to add. If you are going to switch to 19's the tire sidewall will be thinner which means the handling will be a little better, but the ride will be a little more rougher especially when driving on rough roads, bumps, humps, and potholes. That's if you care about ride and comfort.

Start with reading the hundreds of threads in the Wheel/Tire section or search for threads of people that have the wheels/size you want and see what they say.

I purchased an '06 330xi this weekend, and while having a set of all season tires put on I found that the rim had been cracked.... and welded!!! unreal.

I've found a set of F: 225/40/18 and R: 255/35/18 wheels with tires for a great price, and in a rim style that I really like. I'd been worried that this offset would be bad for my AWD setup.

I'm beyond stoked. I'll get some pics posted if I get them.

Hi All- SOOOO. I might need your help after all to sort out if these wheels will fit, so I’ll break this down... and REALLY appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Current- 2006 330XI with 17”. So 225/45/17

Wanted- Front: 225/40/18 and Rear: 255/35/18. I’m told that the offset is 34 and that makes the seller worried that they may not fit?

I’m quite new to all wheel drive sedans, and dont want to hurt the drivetrain... nor to I want to buy wheels that just wont fit.

Any advice? Thanks all!

E90s (xdrive included) come stock with 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear (style 189 to be exact) as an option. they have a 34 and 37 offset respectively. so the only issue would be if 34 is too little of an offset for the rear, which is unlikely.

My e92 328i xdrive came from the factory with those dimensions ^^ so the small size difference of (0.4%) for sure isn't going to negatively affect your car since thats how many of them leave the factory

Well I am bummed!! I found a gorgeous set up with F: 245/40/18 and R: 265/35/18 in the black rim that I wanted. When I did the math- its a 1.58% difference Front to Back. Sucks!!

So- looks like I am going to pickup an OEM set that is 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 that is only a 0.4% difference... and way more in line keeping things square.
