Please Help ASAP

Hello, I have recently completed a spark plug service on my 2011 335i.

When I went to reconnect the battery, I noticed my DTRs, Windows, turn signals ect. didn't work, but the headlights were constantly on, sunroof and trunk light still worked too.

I figured the FRM got bricked with the power surge. I got it repaired by a shop on eBay. When they returned it, the same issues occurred only this time the headlights didn't illuminate no matter what setting I turned them too. However, the trunk light and power sunroof still worked.

My questions are:

Does this mean that potentially the shop fixed my FRM and I just installed it wrong? Are the sunroof and trunk light bulb separate from the FRMs control? Someone please get back to me so I know if I need to purchase a whole new FRM or just disconnect the battery any try to fiddle around with the module some more. Thank you in advance!!

Can you communicate with the FRM with any of the BMW tools? ISTA, INPA, etc?

I would buy a used one off eBay, you can get them for like 50-75 bucks. You can install it without coding and check if the lights work, if they do then either your original FRM got fried again or they didn't fix it properly.
