I have style 156 wheels (7x16 et34) what's the widest tire I can install?

Tire rack is saying 205/55. What about 215's? I want Pilot all seasons if that makes a difference.

245/55 is a hard no.

245/50/16 would be right at limit for diameter. It's a hair smaller than 245/40/18 which is what a lot of people have ran, including myself.

Also, to be clear, the 245 will look pretty dumb on 7". I'm not saying you SHOULD run it, I'm saying you CAN, according to tire rack.

245/55 is a hard no.

Thank you for the advice! I decided on 215/55r16 as I figure that would clear well enough.
