Question Throttle body and intake manifold install tips

Hey I just changed the starter from my N52 and have yet to re-install the intake manifold and throttle body, both of which have rubber o-rings. I was wondering whats the correct thing to do when installing these o-ring gaskets, should they be lubricated or not? I checked with pelicanparts and they wrote me back stating that bmw did not mention adding a lubricant. I was just curious to see what other people have done. Thanks.
