I don't mean stanced aggressive, I just mean more aggressive with the Apex's. Seems like everyone is running 30+ offsets, when you can make it look much better on low 20 offsets, and still have the car function properly with reasonably sized tires. To aggressive, and your car is no longer street friendly

We got it 20 posts ago. His skinny jeans aren't skinny enough for the cool kids to let him sit at their table. The world holds it's breath for your reply.

If you were refearing to my car with the 18x9.5 +22, and 18x10 +25, then no. I have running just the coilovers with no camber adjustments. Everything fits perfect with a 235/40/18 front, and 255/35/18 Rear tire. Of course this will depend on the tires you run, I have Hankook V12's.

The color of mine are hyperblack, and they have a gloss to them, but I would not say anywhere close to polished.

The rear rubs just a tad only over large dips/bumps at the current height you see in the photo. No typical fender rub marks on my tires.

With the 18x9.0" ET31 in the front, the 235/40/18 tire size is a little stretched and thus does not have rubbing issues in the front. However, the 18x10" ET25 rear is very aggressive, and though the 265/35/18 is stretched on it, some extreme summer tires such as Hankook RS-3s or Dunlop Star Specs that run wider than most street tires, those would be more prone to rubbing. You can either make sure that you choose a tire similar to lcix that stretches a bit so that the rubbing is minimal, or you can roll your rear fenders to alleviate the issue. There is also the 18x10" ET33 which would be a much better fitment for the e9x pre-LCI, and you can run a wider 275/35/18 street tire on it as well.

The Race Silver finish on the EC-7s is closer to an OEM silver finish, while the Hyper Silver finish on the ARC-8s is a very bright and shiny silver, though it is not polished.

Hey David have you tried if these fits will hit the struts or shocks for e9x-preLCI's?

+1, I would like to see more pics of this kind of setup. I think I might end up going this route too when I get wheels eventually.

18x9.5 et 22 18x10.5 et 27 or 18x10 et 25
The 17x9.5" ET22 is a fitment that is not produced. We have not seen or heard of anyone running the 17x10.5" ET27 and 17x10" ET25 on the pre-LCI e9x. There have been those that run the 18x9.5" ET22 and 18x10" ET25 with a 265/35/18 on the rear of a pre-LCI e9x with rolled fenders before.

There is also a customer running the 18x9.5" ET22 EC-7s in the rear with a 255/35/18 Michelin PSS in the rear which is stretched and exposes the wheel for easy curbage, but here are a couple photos showing how it looks:

The fronts were an 18x9.0" ET31 with a 225/40/18 tire. This is a stretched fitment and not usually recommended as it exposes the rim and does not protect the wheel as well as the recommended tire sizes. If you are referring to the front of the car, we've only heard of customers going up to the 18x9.5" ET22 with about -3 degrees of camber, but nothing wider than that without a spacer.

Hey guys, I'm interested in a set of ec-7. This is what I'm thinking about running on my e90 LCI. Do you think it's gonna rub and what tire sizes should I go with, don't like stretch look.

18x9et31 Front
18x10et25 Rear
The 18x9" ET31 is a great wheel for the front of your car and I would recommend using it with a 245/35/18 or 235/40/18 tire.

In the rear an 18x10" ET25 is too aggressive to fit onto an LCI E90. You would have to stretch an extremely undersized 245/35/18 tire and even than rubbing may be possible. If you wanted to stay with a 10" wide rear wheel than I would really recommend our 18x10" ET43 with 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 tire. The rear tire size is very dependent upon what kind of tire you plan on using. An extreme performance tire like the Dunlop Star Spec or Hankook RS3 that run much larger would have to be used in the 265/35/18 size. A street tire like the Hankook V12 or Michelin Pilot Super Sport could be used in the 275/35/18 size because they do not run as large.

I'm gonna run hankook v12 for sure, but I was trying to get 2 concave up front and 3 concave in the rear. So, don't matter if its 18x9/9.5/10, just want most concave in the back.

Run the same as my car if you want the concave man. The only thing I will say is that after having a car full of people a few months after putting them on, I did rub a tiny bit in the rear going over bumps. This will be easily cured with a very very minor fender roll in my "garage" this weekend. I am also on pre lci with Bilstien pss10's. I don't think it would have rubbed at all with stock suspension. Also, I don't think the ARC 8's get much more concave, so if this is what you are going for, its a definite win .

Garage List
More race silver on black from Tampa. Pre-LCI E90.

Square setup, race silver EC-7 9's, profile 2 (et31) with Conti DW 245/35/18. 12mm spacers in the rear. ZSP springs, camber -1.1 F, -1.5 rear. No rubbing and looks like plenty of room to lower or for beefier tires in same size.

Thank you Joe for your help on the group buy
