Thats what I said. I know I'm not going to keep the car forever so I'm just doing everything I want to do so I can enjoy it while I have the car.

Odd. I'm running 450/800 on my ASTs and find them totally comfortable as a DD and track rat dual-purpose machine.

Only thing about the OP's spring rates that surprises me is the ratio f to r.

Agreed 100% with this. My 450 fronts might be 50# too stiff on my setup as I get slight pitching even with the heavy 800# rears. The front ends on our cars have a narrow sweet spot, IME.

The stoptech brakes are just good. They haven't given me any problems in ten or so track days now, i use motul 600 and speed bleeders so I just give it a quick 7-push bleed before each event. I use the stoptech street performance pads for street and PFC 06's for track. The only downside to the stoptechs is cost.

My car definitely does generally understeer with these spring rates. I am going up to 800# rears next month and might drop down to 425 fronts after I see how the rear springs do.

I think unmodified konis can handle up to 700#
