Vast improvement over stock. You do need the 335i bracket, caliper rotors, trim the rear shield. The original lines will work as well. You will most likely need coding tough.

Has anyone done the 335i fronts only? I'm curious how pedal feel, brake bias, etc are changed.

335i rears will not bolt directly to the 328i so fronts are normally the only ones done.
Without coding the bias is messed up and pedal is soft. With coding the 328 will out brake a 335i every time and has a solid confidant feel.

So for an E91 - just need the calipers and carriers (plus pads of course)?

Haha, true. Anything to be mindful of on brake line length? I'm due for new ones and could order either spec.

So will 335i brakes fit on my 2011 e90 328i X-drive? Including the rears since it is an X-drive? Is this including the pads, rotors, and the sensors? Not the calipers

I have an opportunity to buy a 335i Zimmerman break kit with everything included. (Rotors, pads, sensors) Will this fit?

Yes.

EDIT:
I just realized that you specifically said everything except the calipers. This discussion is about a complete brake fitment, so especially, calipers.
You need 335i calipers and brackets to fit the larger rotors and pads.

P.S. It's a brake kit. When brakes break, you have a problem and need a break.

If parking brake us 185mm yes. I’m not sure all e90 xdrive do. It’s been a while. I think for e91 xdrive yes. Just check in realoem with your vin.

My 06 330Xi boasts the same size rotors as the 335i. I'm converting my 07 328Xi to full 335i calipers and rotors, front and rear. It's all plug and play. Everything bolts up and no hand brake problems.

2011 E91 to 335 Brake swap - Reservoir -Master Cylinder

I have a 2011 US version E91 328i (not xi). Just checked realoem and saw my rear parking brake is in fact 185mm

Have another question about doing this mod... Does the master cylinder need to be upgraded? Are they the same on the 335, is there enough fluid, do the calipers use the same size fluid housing?
