After I sold my old e90 335i brakes the new f30 brakes front and rear with stainless steel lines cost me about $1650 and made it pointless to consider alternatives. At least for me...This is with M3 master cylinder as well.

Anyone attempted the f80 m3 front rotors
on an e9X 335i? The fronts are a direct fit into the f30 calipers. 380 rotors for guys with 19"wheels.

Same here.
The F30 kit is by far the cheapest BBK for any E9x car.

Will not fit.
The calipers are the same but the mounting radius on the M3/4 is different.
The mounting radius is larger.

They have good pad selection too:
Wait how is it that the 340mm is better than the 345mm oem brakes, maybe I missed that? All my wheels are 18" so I'll look into the 370 mm setup sometime soon.

Calipers > Lighter, 4 piston, fixed, aluminum vs heavier, cast iron, 1 piston, sliding.
Rotors > Lighter , 2 piece , aluminum hat vs heavier, 1 piece, cast iron.
Rather obvious. If not new m3/4 would not use these calipers.

So, did you pull the trigger and buy them?

I'm curious too. I love the initial bite of the oem pads and I can live with all the brake dust for now. I really want to upgrade myself. Not sure if I would rather go with the M3 4 piston upgrade or the 6 piston Porsche upgrade. I already have the 230 style 19inch rims.

I have been searching all over to see if anyone else got them and how it is working out for them.

I need pics! Lol!

These are the Cayenne Turbo S rotors that are originally paired with on the calipers in the ECS BBK. They're 2-piece of some kind but fixed, floating, whatever, I don't know.

That vane design left much to be desired. Cooling must not be the biggest concern with these rotors.

That ebay link took me to 370mm f30 mperf brake kit.

Does anyone know if they will fit the super deep concave apex 17"?

caliper clearance is a non issue but does a 370mm clear the 17" diameter?

What? Can you please rewrite your answer. Above is very incoherent.

Ended up going with ECS TUNING BBK a few months back but I hurt my back at work so I did not install them until last week. Just bedded them yesterday. Need to be bled a second time but I am very pleased with this purchase. I will be even happier when I get rid of my cheap tire and get some Michelin pilot super sports.
Paid 1800 for front kit and 200 for 135i rear calipers on ebay. Yet to install rears. Waiting on f10 5 series rotors(slotted and drilled) to arrive.
Thanks to everyone who chimed in on this thread.

Could you share some more details om your rear brake setup, specifically regarding fitment and performance compared to maybe stock.

Didn't know using that 135i caliper in the rear was an option...

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=819548

Needs f10 528i rotors. Must be 330mm. And a 1.5mm washer to push the caliper forward onto the rotor.
I can't tell you about performance because I haven't installed mine yet. But the pistons are 42mm and our oem rear pistons are 44mm. So it should be about the same.

Thanks feuer. I'll give some feedback on the performance after I bleed them again. Btw.....ECS jacked the price up to $2k now.

I wish they said DINAN. Way too expensive though.

Got some bad news. My serpentine belt broke and some of the belt got through the main seal so I have to get my oil pan cleaned out. Which is a 13 hour job. So the car is parked for now till my mechanic can get some time. Not going to be cheap.

No updates on the brakes. The lowest price that I could find to drop the oil pan, clean it and the oil pick up tube is $1200. So I've been working some extra days to fund it. My regular mechanic will be a whole lot cheaper but he has a pretty demanding regular job and a busy schedule around that.

Super late update
The brakes are great. No complaint. Stopping from high speeds feels smoother than stock. Not taking anything away from the stock setup. It was already good.

My only complaint is that I can't fit my stock 18s anymore so I have to sell them.

Don't feel bad my stock wheels won't fit with the F30 setup either.
