BMW PE...need help...

Hey guys,

Got my BMW PE on my car not too long ago.
Because I don't want to take any chance to mess it up, I got my exhaust installed in BMW dealership... BUT it is still messed up....sighhh...
I told them I want the exhaust installed like the stock one. But I just found out my BMW PE is about 1" shorter than stock....(Maybe would say 1" toward inside the car is more appropriate)

I believe when they install the BMW PE, they already cut the stock pipe...
Now, I want to make the exhaust stick out a little bit more... What can I do??

Take it to a muffler shop and have them extend the tips, it's just pipe.

Maybe it is a stupid question, but do all the muffler shop has proper pipe for every kind of exhaust?
I want a clean job. I plan to sell my PE when I sell my car, I don't want to mess up my PE.....
Thanks!

I'm honestly not sure what size the piping is for the tips. Can you post a picof the exhaust, my PE fit lock stock. Did you get the E90 PE by mistake?

I am sure I bought the right exhaust. I ordered it and got it installed at local dealership.
I am pretty sure it is because of the installation. The tech cut the stock exhaust too much....

I work there. If I complain to the service manager, the tech definitely will hate me...
He has helped me a lot, so I don't want to give him any trouble.
If it is not something expensive, I want to get it fixed on my own...

A muffler shop can add some piping to extend the tips out a bit, very simple fix for them.

But it won't ruin the look of the PE, right?
I guess if they want to extend the tip, they have cut the tip off, the weld pipes on....I am worried about the welding makes the exhaust look so bad..

It won't be visible since it's underneath the car. If you're worried about how it will look when selling it, as long as it's not a hack job the welds will look just fine, not bad at all.

Are you able to extend the part where the old exhaust and PE attach with the clamps?

Maybe the angle in the pictures...
it doesn't look very bad or weird, but some of my friends just think it should be stick out a little bit more....
I try to compare other E92 in person, but I don't have any E92 with stock exhaust around me...
